Biscuit for President?
President’s Day was obviously the hot topic in Kindergarden today. So, when Biscuit arrived home, he told me about all the presidents he learned about today. After pondering why people that aren’t presidents get the day off from work while everyone else must attempt to function as usual without the service of banks, mail service and other needed government offices, I asked Biscuit the burning question.
Michele: So, do you want to be the President of the United States when you grow up?
Biscuit: NO WAY!
Michele: Why not? Everyone wants to be the president when they grow up.
Biscuit: Because, Mom. Presidents get shot.
Michele: Hmmm. Well, only the good ones do. Do you want to be a bad one?
Bisuit: No, I want to be a computer nerd when I grow up!
Haha! I can live with that.
