Feeling Lazy?

2

Most of us have our own little short cuts we use when we are feeling lazy or rushed.  I must admit, I have some really pathetic ones at times.  Donald, however, has won the “Creative Lazy Award” this year.

A few nights ago, he was so tired that he went to lay down and watch a movie while I continued to sit in our home office reading email.  The phone was laying on my desk and started beeping.  Annoyed and thinking I must have bumped it, I turned it off.   A few minutes later the phone started beeping again.   Realizing Donald was paging it to put it back on the charger (because I’m too lazy to ever return it to the charger myself) I took the phone to him so he would stop pestering me.  As soon as I walked in the room, he peeked over his pillow and giggled while asking me to bring him some ice cream.  Laughing, I asked if that was why he paged the phone. His answer …

“Yes, I was gonna call you but I couldn’t find my cell phone.”

HAHA! That sounds like something my hubbs would do! :)

I love the fact that my husband will has our 3 year old daughter to get him a “soda” (beer) instead of getting off his lazy duff and getting it himself. I repeatedly remind him that she is NOT his BARMAID! It infuriates me when he does this.
